Samgyetang - Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup
Korea's most beloved healing tradition — now in your freezer.
For centuries, Koreans have turned to Samgyetang as the ultimate restorative meal — a whole young chicken, slow-simmered with ginseng root until the broth becomes deeply golden, rich in collagen, and alive with natural warmth.
Koreanna Kitchen honours that tradition with a chef's precision. One whole Cornish Hen, raised on an Ontario family farm, is hand-stuffed with 6-year Korean fresh ginseng, jujube dates, and glutinous rice — then slow-simmered for hours in a blend of traditional Korean medicinal herbs. The result is a broth so nourishing and a chicken so tender, you'll understand why Koreans have been eating this for generations.
